As you learn this type of Kung Fu training, you will be learning to make use of other senses during challenging situations in low to no light environment. Visually challenged students welcome. In 2009, Kung Fu for Life, part of the fitness cooperative of East West Fitness World, is partnering up with the Woman's Club of Spokane to bring the community of Spokane a Free Women's Self-Defense Seminar. | From CEO's and semi-professional athletes to men recovering from injuries or punishing exercise habits, Pilates helps both men and women retrain and re-strengthen the body for optimum performance. According to USA Today, male athletes are using Pilates to increase performance. Pilates is a body/mind practice where part of the exercise is to bring one's full care and attention to every movement. Similarly, exacting alignment, and core training that goes beyond the superficial muscles, require more subtle attention and micro-adjustments than some men are used to finding in an exercise class.
